The Doubletree Cookie -- a chocolate chip -- is as famous
for its scrumptious taste as for the delightful way it makes our hotels smell since
all cookies are baked fresh daily, right here in our kitchen.
The recipe originated at a small bakery in Atlanta, and is still used today. Each
cookie weighs a hefty 2 ounces.
Extending chocolate chip cookies as a "Welcome Home" gesture was
expanded eight years ago to include each and every guest that checks in. When you
get your key, you'll also get a complimentary, warm, chocolate chip cookie.
